Five years after Katrina
On 29 August 2005, Hurricane Katrina slammed into the U.S. Gulf Coast, devastating
New Orleans and parts of Mississippi. Since then, Rotarians have been committed to the
region's rebirth, raising millions of dollars for relief and recovery efforts. In May 2011,
Rotary's most important annual event, the international convention, returns to New Orleans. Read more....

District Governor Training Manual update now available
Did you know there are six additional minimum standards for functioning Rotary clubs? The 2010 addendum to the District Governor’s Training Manual includes this policy change among many others made by RI Board of Directors and the 2010 Council on Legislation since 2008.
